WLead Project Meeting in Madrid

WLead is a project co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, which aims to promote the acquisition and improvement of professional and personal skills and competences of entrepreneurial women, employed and unemployed, over 30 years of age who are looking to boost their professional careers.

This is a small-scale partnership made up of two entities, the Madrid Network Association and the Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Belgium and Luxembourg. On Monday, March 27, 2024, both entities met in Madrid, at the Madrid Network headquarters, to take stock of the activities carried out so far and plan the actions to be carried out until its completion in autumn 2024.

The project promoter team focuses on these dates on launching the training materials prepared to respond to the main concerns and interests expressed by the participants in the needs study carried out at the beginning of the project, covering the competencies and skills that are considered key in the professional development of women over 30 years of age with entrepreneurial projects or in the process of professional change (upskilling/reskilling).

These training pills and short-term online training materials will be available on the project platform from June 2024 and will be freely accessible, subject to registration.

To put the finishing touch to the project, on September 4, 2024, a day will be organized at the Madrid Network headquarters that will bring together the participants in the activities carried out within the framework of the project, with special focus on the mentors and mentees who have participated in the WLead mentoring program, as well as other women interested in this type of activities and in possible future editions. The Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Belgium and Luxembourg will organize, for its part, two closing events of the project in these countries.
